Our Values
We recognize that interior design and architecture are inherently political.
Spaces should intentionally create a sense of welcome, warmth and hospitality - not exclusion. Taking all the color from a home and making it feel like an imitation of AI slop does not serve buyers and it does not serve sellers.
We are tired of seeing design that comes from a place of fear or “hedging your bets.” We’re here to offer the Twin Cities design from a place of joy, wonder, and mutual respect for all.
Lily comes from a background of design, photography and digital marketing. With nearly 20 years of brand-building under her belt for craft-focused, story driven businesses, she applies a deep storytelling philosophy to every project. Brick-and-mortar retail projects, restaurant design, and e-commerce interaction design all inform the details of each Vesper Made project.
Lily grew up in Indonesia, the UK and the US, and brings an international awareness to her design. When she isn’t staging homes, she works with small family tea farmers, master ceramicists, and textile artists across the world. She has rich knowledge of porcelain art, textile art and more from years of industry experience.
Lily Duckler
David grew up in a family of art directors and fine artists. Having worked decades in China with master craftspeople, his primary interest is in material history and design.
Walking through a home is seeing the stories of all the people who built it and cared for it, and he brings that same degree of care to curating Vesper Made’s art, rug, and furniture collection.
Before working in staging and material design, David ran a restaurant and two different bar ventures. He brings laser-focus to the eating and cooking spaces of a home for all the buyers that love food and drink.
