Vintage Vibes
historic parkside gem
This was not a staging project, but a design project.
Our client acquired an historic 1906 parkside home in an area where homes never come to market. They purchased “as is” off market, and the home was in a challenging state. Luckily, the home had great bones - it just needed a little TLC.
Instead of demoing the kitchen and bathroom, we helped our clients find a way to save the original architecture while playing up the vintage charm.
With a little rearrangement and resurfacing, this home was feeling as joyful as it must have been when it was first built!
We were so happy to save the original architecture from a builder kitchen and grey plank flooring, and even happier to save our clients from spending big money on a full remodel while still getting them what they wanted.

Before and After
the kitchen:
playful color, new appliances, vintage-inspired marmoleum flooring and a custom backsplash made from reclaimed tile reveals an incredibly sweet + functional kitchen and transforms original wallpaper and cabinet pulls from dated to absolutely darling.
the bathroom:
instead of a complete tear out and remodel, this original bathroom shines like new with fresh paint, updated marmoleum flooring, and a custom tiled bench tucked into formerly wasted space.
